Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong Source-To-Pay business process knowledge.
  • SAP Ariba Consultant – Ariba on Demand & Premise
  • Integration with SAP S/4 HANA

Experience Required

  • Multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals/objectives.
  • Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients applications.
  • Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
  • Support a flexible work schedule (to include nights and weekends on occasion).
  • Translate client’s business requirements into specific system, application, or process designs.
  • May be required to participate in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification and implementation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and shift smoothly between roles as advisory team member, team technical lead, and project lead as required.

Following functional experience required

  • Understanding of PTP process i.e., creation of PR, Release of PR, Receipt and Invoice
  • Should have experience on working on downstream module of Ariba
  • Worked on Catalog based Procurement i.e., Procurement with Reference to Internal Catalog and Punchout Catalogs.
  • Understanding of master data flow from SAP to Ariba
  • Understanding of transaction data flow from Ariba to SAP.
  • Have worked on Pcard based procurement.
  • Understanding of configuration set up in Ariba
  • Understanding of User Profile setup in Ariba.
  • Understanding of defining approvals in Ariba
  • Should have worked on Ariba P2P, Guided Buying and Ariba Network.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interact with business users on day-to-day basis to resolve their queries or train them on the SAP Ariba process/product
  • Work on incidents/changes/enhancement in Source to Pay processes
  • Propose/recommend new relevant features rolled out by SAP every quarter
  • Automate/propose process improvements in the S2P processes if required
